Valentine’s Day. February 14. This is a day that many people look forward to. Whether it’s spending time with a significant other, or spending time with friends, Valentine’s Day is a time to show love and appreciation for those who are special to you. There are many ways to show your loved ones that you care. For example, simply gifting someone with flowers, a box of chocolates, or a sweet, handwritten card are just a few ways to celebrate the occasion.

The Distillery Winter Village

Every year, from the beginning of November to the start of January, the Distillery District in downtown Toronto transforms into a stunning Winter Village. This year will be the 13th time this tradition has been continued, and it remains one of Toronto’s prime attractions during the festive season. There is so much to do at the Distillery Winter Village, which makes it a great destination for family fun, a date night or a place to visit by yourself to get a bite to eat.

Toronto's Santa Parade Celebrates 120 Years of Magic

Toronto's Original Santa Claus Parade marked a historic milestone on Sunday, November 24, celebrating its 120th year with festive cheer, massive crowds, and uncertainty about its future. An estimated 750,000 spectators lined the streets for the spectacle, featuring twenty-seven handmade floats and over 2,000 performers.

Schomburg, December 7 — The annual Parade of Lights once again brought festive cheer to Schomburg as local farmers lit up the streets with their beautifully decorated tractors, celebrating the holiday season in grand style with the community. This cherished tradition, held on a crisp December evening, has become a highlight of the town’s holiday calendar, drawing families, friends, and visitors to marvel at the creativity and holiday spirit of Schomburg’s farmers.

A Concert for the Eras - Taylor in TAYronto

After a year and a half of Taylor Swift’s: The Eras Tour, she has finally brought her tour to the bustling Canadian city of Toronto. Taylor Swift performed six sold out shows in the city on November 14, 15, 16, 21, 22, and 23, with an expected attendance of about 50 000 guests per night at the Rogers Centre. With Toronto being the second last stop on the tour, it was an exciting yet emotional experience for all who attended as the tour will draw to a close on December 8th in Vancouver. The Eras Tour is Swift’s way of culminating the past 17 years of her musical career and all of the “eras” she has been through with her music and her fans.

The 2024 Ontario Universities Fair (OUF) was held in Toronto on the weekend of October 5th and 6th, at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre. Occurring annually, this event allows students in grades 11 and 12 and their parents to explore university options and their wide variety of programs.
